Becky Martin-Murillo, a native of Orange, CA has quickly become one of L.A.'s premiere performers. From studio recording to performing at the Hollywood Bowl to the television screen, Becky has become a fixture in the Los Angeles world of entertainment. Becky has had the privilege of performing with such world renowned artists as Natalie Cole, The Gypsy Kings, Arturo Sandoval and Gordon Goodwins Big Phat Band to name a few. She has been heard on such television shows as Disneys Phineas & Pherb and Disneys Sofia the first as well as been a featured soloist on recordings such as the Buzz Light Year show (Disneyland), Guitar Hero, Super bowl XLVI 2012-NBC's Brotherhood of Man.
Alongside Beckys work as a vocalist and actress, she is passionate about mentoring young performers. Her passion to inspire students to reach their lifes fullest potential was her impetus in establishing LAYSS (Los Angeles Youth Session Singers), one of many avenues in which Becky utilizes her gifts of equipping and inspiring students of all ages. Because Ms. Martin places such a high value on education, she travels the world as a guest artist and clinician. Becky has performed with numerous high school, university and professional bands, choirs and orchestras worldwide.
Becky is proud to be releasing two albums this year. Her first solo album, entitled Introducing Becky Martin and a second release based on the journey of the many facets of the LA music scene through the years, entitled, "Remember Me When. Her husband is L.A. studio trumpeter / composer / arranger / producer Willie Murillo.
